Planning, training and exercising for response

Planning, training and exercising activities will be performed and demonstrated in the four proposed pilot areas, with a view to wider application beyond the project period.

Expected outputs:

A hazard prioritization framework

"The following link can be used to download the chemical hazard prioritisation tool for coastal and riverine industrial infrastructure prepared by Public Health England (PHE). Once downloaded simply unzip the files. The zip file contains the framework methodology and accompanying excel prioritisation tool together with an illustrative case study showing its application within an area of South Wales. The files contain full instructions on how to use the framework and tool."

A report on the methodology and application of hazard mapping
A review of feedback from past incidents

"This report details the works undertaken by the Centre de Documentation de Recherche et d’Expérimentations (Cedre) to carry out a review and worldwide analysis of past accidents to identify their characteristics and sources in transitional waters. The data recorded came from specialized press and websites, conference acts, scientific publications as well as data from IOPPC Funds and insurance technical reports (ITOPF)."
